Family Guy’s bit about Alan Rickman leaving a voicemail reminding himself to move pork chops from the freezer to the refrigerator always cracks me up.

Definitely Top 5 - but:

James Earl Jones

Sam Elliott

Morgan Freeman

Samuel L. Jackson

... are all in the conversation, for sure.

Robert Mitchum hasn’t been mentioned.

I’m also going to throw out Peter Coyote....and that means Henry Fonda too.

Several other good ones listed. Certainly a lot to chose from. It’s tough to pick just one. It’s also going to change.

Leonard Nimoy, especially on the documentaries that he narrated. You knew who it was instantly by his voice and he had a way of keeping your attention.

Maybe not "iconic," but "distinctive"

That's pretty much the standard I went with. A few more:

Benedict Cumberbatch
James Spader
Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime)

So many good ones already listed , but I was surprised that these guys weren’t mentioned yet:

Marlon Brando
Vincent Price

But my vote is split between James Earl Jones and Slim Pickens.
