There's no way they can do what they did before with that show in today's pussy culture.
Are you referring to episodes such as "Diversity Day" and all the different ethnic Christmas specials? The Office never seemed overly racy or at all offensive to me... Don't know what they did then that they wouldn't be able to pull off now.
That could be my white privilege speaking though

They certainly touched on things line race, religion, sexuality, etc. They did it in a way that didn't cross any lines though. Today people get all bent out of shape over much much less than they did on the show. I could see some of it not going over very well at all.
That just makes me want it to make a come back more though. Would love to see them pull it off and not give a shite.

I'm a big David Wallace fan.

There have already been articles written about how "problematic" The Office is now that its on CC and people are "re-discovering it".
Basically, people saying Michael is a mysoginistic, racist, white male but you are made to care for him and that is wrong

Thanks for sending me on a 30 minute spree of watching The Office clips.

I just binged 9 seasons on Netflix over the last couple months just because.
Ryan is the best. His little one liners are so money. He is such a fricking prick to everyone, it's hilarious.
Meredith, in the same vane with the one liners, is great.

The Jim & Pam (say what you want) was played out and went too far. It was better when she clung to Roy and would have been a better story had Jim moved on as the seasons wound to a conclusion.
Now that you mention this, I think you might be right. Once they got married, the storyline between them became just an average American family, which isn't that great of a fit for the show. Once they got into having a second kid and having normal married couple problems it became boring.
This just popped in my head thinking about Pam & Jim's marriage, but does anyone remember that episode when Pam was still on maternity leave and I think Oscar got everyone to go have drinks after work and Pam brought her friend, that she thought she could try to hook up with Michael.. At first Michael didn't realize they were trying to hook them up and he was acting normal, but then when he realized Pam & Jim was trying to hook them up, he became "date mike"?
