I mean, basketball is not that shocking let’s be real.

Football was pretty shocking. And how everything went down. It was a wild ride.

This baseball season is probably the most shocking
we knew basketball would suck but football and baseball were in the top 5 in the country and expected to compete for national titles at the beginning of their respective seasons. Most disappointing year for the big 3 sports in my lifetime :banghead:

Was anyone else at the Ala-MSU game in Starkville in '97 when the shoot didn't open on that crazy cold windy night and the guy hit on about the 10 yard line and bounced 7 yards into the endzone? I have never seen anything like that. First two guys went way past the stadium. It was probably 20-25 mph winds. They should not have been doing it. Game was delayed for about 45 minutes. Stallings was pissed. Ala lost. I can't believe the guy lived.
:ahh: had never heard of that incident. Had to look it up. Very lucky to be alive

At least by sticking it out watching these games I’ve become an expert on putting out fires
Just started rewatching s3 to remember what happens. Is the daughter in the show really not related to the mom? They look exactly alike it’s crazy.

Ben McDonald
agree with this list even though I never saw Ben play. I’d trade him out for Skenes if I just had to choose between players that were at school when I was or since.

Present.

I trust in Jay. If he says this team doesn’t have it I believe him.

I know this team will accomplish nothing of note this season but it sounds like he knows what lessons he needs to learn from this season so I’m fine. I got the World Cup this summer at least to help bridge the gap to football season. What a shitty sports year 25-26 was. Next year will be better

A million to one? So you’d bet one dollar to win a million that we wear all whites “a bunch”? What a risky bet for you

He said it right... X to 1 means how many units you make per 1 unit bet.

I’ll take him up on those odds even if “a bunch” is just a couple times.

Why do you sit in the game thread if you're just going to bitch and moan the whole time?

You can literally read it? Share with the class if so

I see first stop is the brand and can make out the SEC championship and CFP logos but that’s it. Guess its relative to team goals throughout the season

Are all these sets coming from China?
yes so why are they so expensive:confused:

Every white woman I know has picked it up

I don’t give a shite. He’s 2 ft shorter than anyone else he’ll run into in the paint

I was too young to remember watching him play if I ever even did see him play on tv. This threads gonna send me on a rabbit hole of highlight videos:cheers:

Imagining him being one of the most impressive NBA players of all time though. Can only imagine the grit it takes for a dwarf to last in the league as long as he did and put up the numbers he did

40 Yr Old Virgin
Step Brothers

Plenty of others I see here I wouldn’t mind putting on my list but one not mentioned yet, The Waterboy
a good number of Christmas movies I probably watch just about every year… Elf, Christmas Vacation, Just Friends, Home Alone, The Santa Clause, The Family Stone

Have seen Jurassic Park at least that many times. Multiple people said The Fifth Element and I saw it on Netflix and almost turned that on today. Guess I’ll give that one a shot and see if it’s something I’d want to watch a dozen times

ETA definitely watched every Adam Sandler comedy from the 90s a dozen times as a kid alone
Damn that might be as impressive a SWAC team I’ve seen in a while. They’re having a relatively good year for a team out that conference

I can go out to eat by myself, play golf by myself, and (rarely) go to a movie by myself, if necessary.
feels weird dining out alone

But going to the movies on my own is something I don’t worry about at all. My wife basically wont watch any action or violent movies so if there’s something I want to see I will go to the theater on my own. Its dark anyway so I don’t have to worry about anyone seeing me and thinking I’m weird
