I can't pick between Rose and Holdo.....they were equally nauseating.
ETA I get why Anakin is on this list but at least he had a chance to somewhat redeem himself in Clone Wars and ROTS.

Jar Jar, Rose and Holdo are too easy to call the worst. They aren't even Star Wars characters to me.
I'll call Finn the worst. I choose him b/c he had the most potential to be a great character, but simply wasn't.
the other 3 bozos had no potential to be even decent, and the only reason they are even memorable is b/c of how terrible they are.

Emotionally, I vote for Rose Tico because she was so obviously a token and the faux twat outrage about here not being the main star.
However, intellectually it has to be Finn ... even in Star Wars a Stormjanitor would not be able to fight a shitty Jedi much less the supposed master.

Tough choice between Rose and Holdo. Both make stupid decisions. Both were prominent in the franchise's worst film. Both were shoehorned in for nothing more than a political agenda.
Poe and Finn would battle it out for third worst on the list.
Jar Jar slightly edges out Anakin for 5th.

You know it's bad when Jar Jar was easily the most hated character from after Eps 1-3 came out. And I haven't even seen him mentioned yet because Holdo and Tico are so loathed. Great work, Disney.

I'm surprised Hux doesn't get more hate. They put some ROTC Niedermeyer in charge of the big bad military and used him as a foil for hokey comic relief.

He could have been a great character. It was clear the writing ruined what that character could have been.
