Initially I downvoted you thinking you were just hating on the show but I finally watched episode 6 season 3 and you are right on the money.
This show is moving all over the map and hopefully will come back together here in these last 4 episodes and keep the best characters on screen and stick to a storyline.
I do understand the Indian redirection though obviously with both sides teaming up to work together and development of a relationship that obviously we will see more of moving forward but the “Cowboy shite” ur right has become a bit much and how It’s no longer as regulated beats me maybe it’s because Rip is further off site and something will happen with that as well at some point I’m sure.
Fingers crossed cause I like the cast and cinematography is awesome.

It's like they think they have a hit so let's add a couple of meaningless seasons and then have a big finale. This season has done nothing to advance the show.
First season was really good.
Second season I couldn't finish.

And somewhere out there, there is a jet flying around with a bomb in the fuel tank that could explode any minute and kill many innocent people. (from last season).

I believe was remote controlled. At least that’s what i got from them wanting the plane to fly close by.

I mean it was the Beck Brothers plane, so doubt that it’s getting used much now.

I think the show just spends too much time on unnecessary BS and ridiculous subplots. Half of each episode serves no purpose.

The characters and acting is strong which keeps it together though I could do without the hillbilly bunkhouse retard chick.

****SPOILERS FOR S3E7****

frick.
Rip drives the psycho horse to sell and doesn’t work out. Barrel racer chick is kinda annoying along the way. Rip comes back extremely stressed and anxious, completely out of relation to the events. Oh well guess they just wanted Rip pissed off even if it made no sense.

The adoption shite. Wouldn’t it make more sense if Jaime didn’t have or see the murder conviction file and only learned of it from John? Instead he goes to confront John for the “lie” when he now knows full well why it was concealed. Duh.

So you lied to me but I know why you did it but I’m still going to confront you over it and you’re going to tell me what I already knew before I confronted you. Wtf.

I think Jimmy’s character would be better if cast better. The actor just has no appeal to me. And that seems important for a likeable loser type character.

Kayce and John’s scenes were cool. But weird that Armageddon is coming over some stolen cattle.

The Armageddon would be more understandable if Wade was Jaime’s real dad.

Agree but still not saying much. Rip has been my favorite from the beginning and even more when I found out who the actor is (because he does such a good performance I had no idea).

This might be the case. He tells Wade he stole the one thing a Cowboy never steals. And he mentions his Prison boyfriend implying he spent time in jail. He also tells Jamie that he knew his mother and father and they all told her not to marry him. So...it's entirely possible it goes that way. And that the mother was somehow related or close to John.
