Are you kidding? He was young as hell. Have you seen any of the actors listed in this thread in their early movies? They are all terrible. Plus, he was not a big enough role to be terrible and I don't think he was bad at all at being a spoiled rich brat. Judging Hoffman by his third tier role in a movie that cast him as a teenager is absolutely blasphemous.
