Wilco always comes back to New Orleans no matter what.
No kidding? I would LOVE to go to their next show.

Alice's Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie.

Absolutely, dude. They played Jazzfest last year, even though they'd done the 2-night stand at Tip's the year before.
Their latest album came out over the summer, so they'll get to us pretty soon, I think.

As mentioned earlier:
Stones - Can't You Hear Me Knocking? (that Mick Taylor solo is kick arse)
Genesis - Home By The Sea
Genesis - Domino

Queen - Bohemean Rhapsody
While not necessarly my favorite, it was one of the first songsto get radio airplay as a song longer than 3 minutes.
Overlook the spelling errors.

I didn't think it would take 2 posts for that to come up, let alone 2 pages.

I was pretty much going to write this, almost verbatim. I would consider changing the Dream Theater song, but there are so many great ones that were long as frick.
Opeth and DT equal greatness!!!
And I do think that Octavarium is the best of their 20+ minute songs. Just so epic at the beginning and end. You really should see the live Score version of it though...Incredible!!!

Wanna second the love of Television and the Stone Roses. And, of course, One by Metallica.
Without being able to check run-times (and I'm really busy right now), I'll also throw out "Rocket Boy" by Jets to Brazil, which is 8 or 9 minutes, and "Poor Jackie" by Man Man.

I've seen both of those bands live, and they both only fit in about 5 or 6 songs into an hour long set.
Me too, but just to 1 up you.
How about this line up 3, Between The Buried And Me, Opeth, and Dream Theater in one show!!!
The making of a sonic masterpiece.

A Change of Seasons by DT is pretty badass (23:06)

Oh, and I'd be remiss not to mention the live version of Drive by Truckers' 18 Wheels of Love. In concert, counting the intro, that thing can run 20 minutes. And it's awesome.

Wht about any bootleg song of the Grateful Dead?
Posted on 3/9/10 at 7:16 pm to Baloo
4 pages and no mention of Rapper's Delight by the Sugarhill Gang?
For shame

You saw Prog Nation too, huh? Where? I caught the Atlanta show. Three played a great opening set too.
