I don’t know the specifics, but it seems to me if they had a legit DNA sample from the Zodiac - from the stamps or another source - the identity could be surmised rather quickly through genetic genealogy.

Just finished the documentary tonight and I'm a bit ashamed to say I've never seen the 2007 film.....and I'm a crime junkie. Just assumed it was another Hollywood hackfest. Guess I'll have to check it out ASAP.
I saw enough circumstantial evidence to safely believe ALA was the Zodiac. He absolutely seems like he was a sociopath.
