Little known fact... Fagan didn’t sing lead vocals on Dirty Work. David Palmer was the vocalist. I think the Can’t Buy Thrill album was the only one he appeared on. He only sang lead on a handful of songs, splitting lead duty with Fagan and provided harmonies on the rest.

That's kinda what I was trying to say earlier. I like Dirty Work. But it does anything like Steely Dan and I probably heard the song at least a dozen times before I knew that they'd recorded it.
