They did many covers in the early years, most of which were better than the originals IMO. Many have already been listed but here are several more they covered that are really good...original artist in parenthesis.
Long Tall Sally (Little Richard-1956)
Money (Barrett Strong-1959)
Roll Over Beethoven (Chuck Berry-1956)
Baby It's You (The Shirelles-1961)
You Really Got a Hold on Me (The Miracles-1962)

I really like Fleetwood Mac's version. Great song and done well.
I prefer the Judas Priest cover of it though.
