Trying to figure out what they even booked em. I'm going but they were never that big around here.

They should’ve booked Biloxi or Memphis. No one is driving into Jackson to see Megadeth and Lamb of God. Add in the night before Easter and people aren’t going to go for fear of being late to Church tomorrow.

Was originally booked at UNO Lakefront Arena before COVID screwed it up. I would be there if this show was in NO.

Actually 30 years ago this show would have sold out in a matter of hours. Nowadays, kids and probably half of millennials don't know who Megadeth is, and the older crowd is out of it. With the exception of the European scene, metal has reached an all time low in popularity.

They were dumping tickets for $10 yesterday

Not bad to see one of the greatest guitarists of all time perform.

Old lady: It’s so good to see you again. We sure have missed you.
Me: Thanks, sorry I came in a little late. I went to the Megadeth/Lamb of God show last night, and it was lit.

I was there. Looked about half full. Energy was still good. In Flames, Trivium, and Lamb of God were all amazing. I'm not the biggest Megadeth fan...
Went straight from Lafayette to Brandon MS and skipped over where they were originally booked in NO.

Yup. A couple of friends left when Megadeth started for that very reason.

You didn't have a camera? I'm curious as to what a venue in Brandon would even look like.

In Flames, Trivium,
I am most excited about these 2. Sucks they only have 45 minute sets.

You won't find a nicer venue. Brandon amphitheater was built in 2018
Saturday's show

I streamed it. Wish I'd used a real mic on my phone though

Plenty of millennials from let’s say 36-41 know who Megadeath is.
People under the age of 30, probably not as many.

While that does indeed look like a nice venue, esp for the are, LMAO, NO!, that ain't got shite on the Greek Theater in Berkeley, Red Rocks, or innumerable other venues.
