Aaberg, who is a long-time Montana resident, has played piano with a variety of artists. He was in Elvin Bishop's band in the seventies. His piano work on Bishop's "Let It Flow" album is outstanding (damn good underrated album, with Dickey Betts, Toy Caldwell, Sly Stone and Charlie Daniels as guest musicians).

He has produced his own albums, and they are really good. My favorite is "Versatile," which has a wide variety of music styles. Sweet Grass Music is his production company. He plays funk, classical, jazz, chamber, southern rock, bluegrass, rock and roll, and boogie woogie.

Here's a cut from Bishop's album, "Honey Babe." It is an old blues song originally sang by Lightnin' Hopkins. The piano solo starts at 1:10. There is a really strong version of "Hey Hey Good Looking" on the same album (though Bishop's singing voice isn't exactly operatic LOL).
