I’ve asked Fret about the place once but he was not familiar with them.
So I am asking all of you. Place seems awesome or too good to be true.
I bought a D35. It has a couple issues. Mainly I just want it stable and playable. It has some bridge lift. And a stable back crack. The lift is job one. The crack I will have cleated later. Right now it is tuned down and in a case with a humidipack.
Heights guitar has nothing but 5 stars.
Called the shop.
Bridge they said 100-120
Cleat 25 bucks to 100 bucks based on location and size. Mine when described they said 40 bucks.
Then for a neck reset (probable in the future) $300. In addition they said for this age of Martin (1970’s) they will steam and clamp the neck for $130. Basically straightening it to achieve a poor man’s neck reset.
They sound cool to talk to on the phone. Just wondered if any of you had dealing with them.
Thanks.

Are they also a guitar shop with customers?
With a few guitars for sale?
I like shops like that. I can check their regular customers out and see if they're better than me.
but they probaly pay those guys $7.50 an hour to sit around on the couch and play guitar. They're pros

No. They are straight repair I believe. If they sell anything it’s random. Think maybe that’s why they are quick and affordable. No retail overhead.

Good prices, I wouldn't say they're too good to be true.

Never used em but they've been in that little hut location long enough for me to feel comfortable perusing customer reviews.

I only went back about two pages worth, but I don’t think I saw less than 5 stars.
