Just watched this. Really great show.
3 totally different styles of writing and picking. All of it excellent.
Jim McBride wasn't a great picker(I read that he was 21 when he got his first guitar), but he wrote his words in a way that was for the average man.
"I'll walk across Hell on thunder", How good is that line?
The middle guy..what a fantastic picker, I was just thinking how great he is on that Travis picking... well then he says he's Merle Travis's son.
" Reed Between The Strings", that was badass.
The guy with the hat, I had no idea about him. I don't remember his first song and wasn't that crazy about it, second song I remember it a little bit.
His 3rd song " Emotional Train Wreck", That one was fantastic.

I don't really name them, but other people come up with nicknames that stuck.
My LP jr. is a stewmac kit guitar that I built and am always upgrading and rat rodding. My freind called it a "homebrew "guitar one day and I thought Homebrew was a good name.
My main telecaster is supposed to be butterscotch blonde, but it has a heavy orange/yellow tint. I always called it " the yella Telly. Another friend calls it Ol' Yeller, so I started calling it that.
My resonator guitar is now "Rez" and my Hummingbird is "The Bird".
I had a Yamaha 12 string that my wife called "Thunder" but I don't have that one anymore.

Since they were trying to kill each other, their intentions were murderous.
Should they get off light because they killed the wrong person?
It wasn't exactly an accident.

Maple Hill Cemetery. It was fun to take your girlfriends there. Also Sally Carter's grave.

Way Down Yonder On The Chattahoochee and Chasin That Neon Rainbow probably the most well known, but there were many more.
I knew him a little bit growing up, he was a nice guy. He lived not far from us and was our substitute mailman before he hit it big.

I had an identical 1 a while back.
They're pretty good guitars, it shouldn't need a lot.
