Kiss was my first concert. 1978. Houston, TX. The Summit. I've seen them at least six more times since then.
I'm a die hard Kiss fan. I was a member of the Kiss Army. I prefer the Ace Frehley, Peter Criss years. But I do like some of the new Kiss.
That being said, I'll pass on this fake animated tour.

Gene will not leave a single penny on the table

They’ve said for years that the band is bigger than them and would continue after they are gone. Here they go.

Came here to check if this was posted/discussed.
Decidely mixed feelings on this. Digital avatars and AI will make it possible to recreate performers, and sometimes from older eras. If it's with the artist's involvement and consent that's fine. But some will be done with purely financial motives by heirs, or other folks who are pretty removed from the actual original artists and that starts getting sketchy to me.
Then there's the issue of newer artists being drowned out by retired and dead artists "touring" continually. Maybe it's not much different than cover bands keeping the Beatles etc alive. There is room for debate, and I expect a generational divide in perspective.

Do you wear face paint when you go to the shows?

You wore makeup, but Paul didn't on that tour.

I was planning on going as Vinnie. My girlfriend at the time was in love with Paul. She won that battle...
It didn't matter that they were unmasked. Numerous fans were in makeup.
I also had a jersey type shirt on. Black sleeves, white front and back. On the front it had Boy George with a red prohibit circle around his face with Ted Nugent for President on the back.
I had it custom made the day of the show at a shirt shop in the Galleria where they did iron ons.
Oh man... Awesome great memories. Good times! So glad I was alive then!!!
Edit: Wrong shirt. Never mind. That was a different show.

Not my cup of tea, but I've been a fan since '76. Let em do what they want to do. Wonder why it bothers people that aren't gonna look at it anyway.

Soon we can integrate AI and their avatars will write new music as well.

After years of being lazy and not paying attention, I finally saw them at Louder Than Life last year. Even though it wasn’t Ace and Peter, the show was still phenomenal. I’m glad I don’t have to live with regret. Greatest band ever
