Well it's subjective of course. I like wilco a whole lot, but the new mutemath record is really good. And their live show is incredible.
Just tell me why wilco is "better" live than mutemath?
MM is a freaking event. Wilco is a good show with a very good songwriter.

Yeah, crappy bands.
At that time, what did they have released? One album? What did you expect?
They've released 2 more since then.

MuteMath had a huge chance to become big but never could pull it off. I doubt they sell out any shows outside of their homestate of LA.
TheDoc, this wouldnt be such a big deal if you hadnt hyped it so much. Really, on a national level, noone would consider this a "huge, cant miss" show.

Apparently you can buy tickets already here
They're currently touring with Incubus and Linkin Park? Are they their peers and cross over fan base?
Nice find! I just bought two
They are only selling 50 through that site
I don't think they know them, not really sure how they got on that tour, but the music isn't similar at all really... "rock"

Well Jeff Tweedy doesn't stage dive so I guess mutemath is the better live experience.

I actually have seen him take off his shirt and do this at the CAC, long time ago... in an ironic way and it was quite funny... same show he called out the vienna sausage boys choir for leaning on stage and singing everything word for word...

I enjoy MuteMath. i really do. I dont, however, like TheDoc hyping up the show like its going to be Paul fricking McCartney

Oh, and that tour is sponsored by Honda right?
Linkin park/incubus/mutemath is a MUCH bigger concert than fricking phish
And I'm not a fan of three out of four of those bands listed.

What about all those shows they sold out up and down the east coast? And west coast?
Canada? Australia?
Remember when they were opening for U2?
Dude, you really have no idea as to what you're talking about mon.
