Neither and so grateful for it. So glad I came of age with music right before rap hit the scene. I dodged a bullet.

the difference between the two to me is the "rawness."

no limit was so raw and gritty. when master p and c murder say they're sooooooldiers, I believe them. Cash money had better production and created better finished products, but it just doesn't seem as real or authentic.

How about this one.... Who's the better rapper? Silkk or Birdman?

Would have to go Birdman, Silkk was terrible.

BG and C-Murda is some of my favorite rap ever. He and Mannie Fresh were the best in CMR. Don't forget that CMR had UNLV first. Magic, Fiend, and Mystikal all had amazing talent. Slim, Kane and Abel, C-Murda, and kinda Silkk could flow really well. Snoop sucked after he went to No Limit.

Nobody can deny that Ghetto D was fricking awesome though. I'm still sticking with BG because he is one of the most real out of them all. Well, one of the most real that isn't dead. I saw him handing out CDs from his Tahoe around 98 or so. Didn't stop because it was in Gerttown and I'm white. Even had a big billboard on the side of his shite.

I think it's very easily Cash Money, but Ghetto D is the GOAT between the two labels. EVERY DAMN SONG goes hard...this isn't all of them, but the ones I remember. You could listen to the who thing without skipping.

Ghetto Dope

Weed and Money

Stop Hatin
Only Time Will Tell
Going through Some Thangs

I'm on the fence on this one.

Cash Money is great and made some fire tracks. No questions their stuff was more commercial and popular.

No Limit had some straight thug jams. They hooked up with UGK a few times which automatically gives them major points in my book.

Still to me its a toss up.
