If it was in Miami I'd consider going.
Really praying for a New Orleans show next year.

Yeah--loooong overdue.
And the closest shows are Atlanta, which are usually "meh" shows and at venues that kinda blow (IMO). I caught the Birmingham show last year and it was fantastic, but they play B'ham once in a blue moon. The next night (ATL) kinda sucked.
Has Houston ever been played? Hell, even Dallas has not been played since the Bomb Factory days.
Sooooo, (in summing up, the moral seems) if you live in New Orleans, you basically have to book a flight and hotel to catch a show. That is why I usually do 2-4 day show runs, because of logistics (this years L.A. Hollywood Bowl show being the exception).

November 2nd has been the date of two of my favorite shows.
11.2.96 has my top Antelope of all time, as well as a sick Crosseyed and Painless. Both feature Karl Perrazo (Santana) on percussion. He played with the band 2 nights before for the Remain in Light cover. The show has since been released on DVD.

11.2.98 is hands down one of the most famous Phish shows ever. Two days after covering the entirety of the Velvet Underground album Loaded , the band gave its fans one of the biggest treats ever in the second set with a full performance of Dark Side of the Moon . The first set is no slouch either with a terrific Tube opener.

Houston 98 was a great show. I think may have played in 99 also not sure though.
They played Dallas in 97 and 98 for sure. I believe Dallas 97 was the debut of Birds of a Feather. Also known for a HUGE AC/DC Bag in the first set. There are soundboards of this show available. I may have a copy in storage if interested.
