Agreed. Their genre and styles are very different. The only thing they have in common is that they include covers at their shows, somewhat of a similar fan base, and the overall magnitude of popularity that both have gained.
Each band, same with every other band in the "scene", are their own unique entity.

Ya know if you were ever fortunate enough to meet Trey you would probably disgust him about like Antelope Greg does these days. Except I respect Greg more than losers who hide behind keyboards, and never saw Phish before 09. Not that I have anything against young people at shows, but it's the "jaded" kids who haven't seen enough shows to be jaded that get me. At least Greg does something with his life besides trolling football and music boards even if it is only following around a band. I'm sure you may be a cool guy in person, and we've probably rubbed shoulders these last 6 years, but the band you love would not respect you one bit if they saw the trash you post on here. And I know you will come back with something that you and your butt buddies will find witty. We will all laugh and go on about our day, but just remember you don't know shite just because you know of a few sick jams your older brother told you about.

The WSPSUX is obviously exaggerated a tad on here (like almost everything on the internet), but I really do think they are boring and I have seen them enough times to justify that opinion.
