I gave up your name and that's it. Anything else claimed to be said is false.

I was a bit inebriated and pressured but I do apologize. Please don't kick me out of the group guys. You're all I have.

can we all just please bask in the glory and majesty of The Phish in this thread?
Southern run thoughts:
8.1
555 - my first time seeing it live. Really enjoyed it. Mike is making headway as a songwriter. Wish we could have gotten a Yarmouth Road as well.
Heavy Things - Page had a killer organ solo. He has stolen that song from Trey.
46 Days - nice, standard blues peak
Tube - finally got one after 12 shows. It was so short though. Still fun.
Wolfman's Brother - This has truly been a first set Type I MVP in all of 3.0, and this version was no exception.
Rift - I think it is time to shelve this. Trey just can't play it good anymore.
Devotion to a Dream - Nothing remarkable at all.
Ballad of Curtis Loew - great song selection. The entire crowd joined in the chorus.
Down With Disease - clearly the jam of the run. Phish has blessed us with an official HD video.
Tweezer > Caspian - Tweezer never really went anywhere. I fricking hate Prince Caspian so overall I was very disappointed in this entire segment.
Waiting All Night - I was Waiting in Line for the bathroom during this one
Fuego - I'm a fan, so I enjoyed it
Slave - standard
2001, Boogie, Antelope- really fun dance section right chea. People were gettin' DOWN
Bouncing Around the Room - ehhhhhh
Tweeprise - !!
8.2
Cities - not as good as the '12 version
Reba - great song placement as the sun was setting
Maze - Page crushed his solo...Trey not so much
Wingsuit - was really feeling the coda jam here. Sounds like Pink Floyd to me.
Carini > Ghost > Mike's > Simple - what a way to kick off the second set. Not much in the terms of improv, but energy flying off the charts. That really sums up the show.
YEM - YEM is YEM. It IS Phish. The crowd ate it up and it was fricking awesome.
Quinn - much better encore

Fuego
I think Moma Dance is possible the best 2nd song of a set. I'm a huge fan of the Moma Dance>555 segue. Even though Heavy Things was in between it still sets the mood for the show.
That 46 Days was great. I've relistened to that more than anything else from the show.
I liked the 2001>Boogie but was a little bummed about getting that same thing in Bham in '12.
I was really hoping for something different than Bouncing but oh well.
We had a fricking blast. Some of the people we were with had never seen them so it was great to see how much they enjoyed it.

quote:The fricking idiots I was with invited some sketch ball that had a tank and his tour rat girlfriend to our room at like 3 in the morning with a tank. With promises of free nitrous. They walk in, first thing they say is "alright i'm giving yall a deal 5 bucks a balloon. hey anyone got any coke?" We realized quickly he was just using our room to do drugs in and kept trying to hustle us with a bunch of shite. Not a cool scene. I was so happy when those fricking people left.
Except for when the nitrous guy at my hotel slammed the door in my face

What shows?
I only did Oak Mtn > Alpharetta. The worst of the worst was some a-hole who threw an empty beer can at one of my buddies in a wheel chair as we headed into the venue at Oak Mtn. I've never been violent at a show, and have walked away from many fights but I would have beat the breaks off that moron if I knew who did it. I was disgusted many times.

I'll tell you what: the crowds this weekend were much rowdier and drunk than Dick's last year.

Ding ding ding. I love my Alma Mater, but hated the frat boys. I didn't like living in T Town for that reason alone. And Trey I'm the most unconfrontational person you could ever meet. Raised by dead heads and just a easy going guy, but disrespecting my kind hearted friend like that does not sit well with me. Disrespect me all you want I could care less, but I will fight for my friends all day everyday. There's just no excuse for that behavior.
