Lets talk about something that we can all agree on.
Something that will bring us together.
And that is that Warren Haynes is a no talent assclown and his band is worse.

This is America so you get to have an opinion.
I did used to get annoyed with his style on top of their songs because that was it was for the first couple 3 years. He was just throwing his licks on top of their songs. It was "Jimmy Herring with Widespread Panic". JoJo and Dave got lazy (que the schools jokes). But he really found his groove in Spring 2011. He really has settled in and fits in great IMO.

Last time I saw them was about that time period in Akron. Was very tempted to pull out the headphones and throw on Live Phish 11 and get the light show with it. Decided at set break that was going to be my last panic show.

haha, i'm sorry its true - not really meant to be an insult its just how you seem to go about it.
Just saying you bring the repeated lolpanic / wspsux jokes on yourself as they are an easy comeback.
all i want to do is talk about the phish in here.

Lots of people. Just not a lot of people in the jam community.

shite man, that happens with every band every thing. We frick around on here and for the most part it is all in jest. And it isn't exclusive to phish fans, I went to lockn and was trying to get to the grounds early a few of my friends said "I don't care about that shite I'm only here for panic". Whatever, that shite happens with all fans and they may have just been fricking with me cause that's what friends do. I think you may be overgeneralizing with the phish crowd and based on internet bullshite but that is just me.
No you're right. Every hardcore passionate fan base has them. It just comes with the territory. There are some major douche bags who are panic fans out there. In my experiences tho, I've found them to be few and far between compared to the Phish fan base. Let me put it this way...you will see many more WSP shirts at a Phish show than you will vice versa.

Thats definitely what the Biscuits needed. More percussion.

Mikey's guitar, to me, always sounded like a musical see saw. Waa WAAA waaa WAAA waa WAA waa.
Panic fans always said it was the "tornado," but it always just felt like it was going back and forth, back and forth to me.

I thought Phil singing Jack A Roe was the worst vocals I would ever hear on a dead song. Wow.

I don't need to listen to that set to tell you it was terrible. I would rather bleed out than go to a tDB show.

You listen to the 9:30 club shows?

The whole concept of two dudes from the Dead playing with tDB was pretty strange to me from the beginning, and it not ending up sounding very good is not surprising at all
Which is a shame because they've been killing it this year. The like...5 shows they've played.
