The first 3/4 of the 2nd set tonight is top fricking notch Phish, 3.0, 1.0, whatever. fricking awesome.

I love that they've just killed these first three shows, and they were so...just really not good in NOLA. Like thanks for coming down for the first time in 15 years or whatever and being shitty, and then running back up to those shithead Northeasterners and playing ridiculous shows

Whatever...the last 5 minutes of the Fuego was definitely the highlight of the show IMO. That Fuego > DwD was hot. Twist and Light were solid. Then a two song snoozebreak and then a good First Tube. Really good set.

That was a lot of words. I need to go to sleep.

Yeah, that Fuego was nasty. The Melt was cool as well.

The whole second set was fantastic...one of the best I've seen in a while.

Fuego was a great jam. Character Zero encore was electric and was the icing on the cake. First Tube second set closer was killer.

Tonight's Fuego is why I love phish. Beautiful harmonic jamming.

This tour is going to be special. I am going to have to catch a show somewhere. frick.

ETA: the end of that jam. Never heard trey sound like that,

Fuego jam kinda meandered for a while but definitely ended strong with a nice build up.

Wow...some beautiful stuff in this Fuego.

Kudos to Trey Anastasio. He has really been playing great this tour thus far. He has caught quite a bit of flak in recent years and I think Fuego has rejuvenated him in some aspects. His issues with consistency and ripcording still linger but I have found that overall his playing continues to improve every year since 2009. He shows flashes of straight-up brillancy from time to time. I just wish it was sustained a bit more. Keep that jam going at the end of last night's Fuego and it would approach legendary status.

Do you think phish could cover sam smiths stay with me? I think that could be made into a epic jam

I don't know that song or artist. Obviously they are probably the greatest band at covers of all time so there's a good chance they could do something with it.

I wonder where the inevitable YEM will turn up in tonight's setlist. Opening slot would be sick, although I hope they save that for the southern run

I had my first Bushwacker last night. It was at the Blind Tiger in Bay St Louis. Does it always come premixed in a machine? I imagine not. Anyways it was pretty good and got fricked up

I passed the frick out last night at like 11. And woke up at like 12:30.

It was amazing

A Bay St. Louis Bushwacker? Yikes

Do y'all have a place down there or something?

edit: yeah most of the time it is premixed because it has ice cream in it. So you can't exactly make it at the bar in a timely fashion.

I have a few buddies down there. I plan on eventually getting a camp on that coast or somewhere in the Tickfaw/Blood rivers area.

Nah you don't wanna do that. You should look into a camp on Fish River or Weeks Bay in gumpland. Say what you will about Bama but at least it isn't MS
