Yeah I went to the overpass area last night around midnight and didn't know about the crash. It was oddly empty and quiet everywhere. Makes sense now.

Are there any NOLA references in Phish songs? I can't think of any. I feel like a band of Phish's caliber understands what sort of bustling metropolis and cultural landmark Baton Rouge is.

Jesus Just Left Chicago has the "headed down to New Orleans" line, but it is a cover.
It's funny because they have never played in Baton Rouge before. I guess they thought it just sounded cool. Very random and awesome reference

Cypress obviously seemed like a blast, but from a musical standpoint The Great Went was easily my favorite festival. Set II of 8.17.97 is probably my favorite set of Phish, with that Gin being my favorite jam of all time.
