The Professor of Rock (great youtube channel by the way) goes into the story behind Without You. He goes through Badfinger originally writing it and Nilsson doing the cover, but damn it's sad all the shite that ultimately came about around this song. What an interesting, tragic story behind a classic track.

yeah he definitely throws down heavy on those titles. I've been watching his vids for a while now, and he does put out good content. You just have to swallow the annoying youtube hardsell crap

Their story has everything: The Beatles, success, fall from grace, a shady manager (great role for a character actor), bitter infighting, and not one but two suicides..
We'll never get an honest version as long as Joey Molland is alive, the same way we'll never get an honest Beatles flick as long as Yoko is alive (which may not be too long from what I hear)
