opiates arent the same as weed and acid. You dont need opiates to create art. Its a talent. How does using smack correlate to better music? I think acid helps. The beatles music got really good after they toon acid for some reason. Maybe some direct correlation with that drug. I just think heroin is useless. JUST MY OPINION DAN. Not trying to offend any users out there. To each his own.

Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, and Diamond Dogs were probably all heroin albums, cause Bowie was hanging out with Marc Bolan, Iggy Pop, and Lou Reed a lot around then and they were all pretty much junkies

It's like all the poets and writers in the 1800's hanging out in opium dens all the time. It's a different sort of drug than acid for sure, but it has inspired a lot of rock and roll people
