Had some old jams on and that Bass guitar in this particular song is arguably some of the best I’ve ever heard in any song

Justin Chancellor is awesome. The 10000 Days (Wings for Marie) song is a straight up clinic

Good to see the 10,000 Days album getting some praise on here. Never quite understood why people sh!t on it because I find it's a fantastic record.

Probably their best song overall. Not my favorite (I like it plenty though), but their best from beginning to end. It’s brilliant

10,000 days probably my favorite album by them.

Every song is great to me.

I mean that's how awesome Tool is. 10000 Days is an amazing amazing amazing album, with 10000 Days, Jambi, The Pot, Vicarious, Right in Two, Rosetta Stoned, etc. yet it's honestly not even close to being my favorite album by them.

The instrument section of the group is each inarguably world class players. Perhaps even top of the list in the case of DC. All that to say yeah they’re badass at their trade.

I can’t get enough of this action:

Invincible encore

ETA……if you find yourself with only a few minutes to spare at the time, I’d recommend concentrating on 6:45 to 11:00 marks, with the climax being at exactly the 9:45 mark. Which literally gives me goosebumps every time.

The Pot is the best song to get a non-tool fan into them with, I've said it for years.

Agreed completely.

One of my closet friends has been wanting me to listen to Tool for years and the one song he always suggested was The Pot and when I first heard it, I was hooked.

I love how people pay a lot of money to go to a show and end up watching the entire thing via the camera on their phone…I am glad some get decent video so I can see it tho. Hah

Agreed regarding The Pot.

Also, Fear is aging like the finest of wines. What an album.

You see a lot of phones in that video because people are only "allowed" to video the encore at Tool shows. The rest of the show phones are almost nonexistent, which of course is a great thing.

I didn't even start listening to 10,000 Days beginning to end until earlier this year when I was thinking about seeing them live. I was always content listening to Aenima or Lateralus but was pleasantly surprised how good the album is despite always liking The Pot.

Completely agree part 2. Gets better the more I listen to it.

It’s really grown on me over the years. Was lukewarm on it originally but now I love it.

It’s a good song but net even the best on that album.

Vicarious
Right in Two
10,000 Days

All better
