has been playing with Hagar almost 20 years.
Like, touring with him? Didn't know that.

I recently paid $35 to see Dinosaur Jr. The overpriced shows tend to be the nostalgia old dudes that can't play anymore.

J Mascis is no spring chicken, but the disrespect being shown to Dinosaur Jr in this thread by some is uncalled for.

Ought to be a worthy show to see.

Saw them in concert many times during the late 70s and 80s.

Per Van Halen News Desk website, DLR is saying he's ready to go on tour with Sammy on this. If he does, that will be a good time to get a beer, or restroom break. Dude can't hold a tune. And I'm sure the rest of the band, which are Sam's pals will not be open to this. But we will see.

Sounds like they do have a love/hate relationship.

He sounds beyond awful. Not that he was all that great to begin with, but he's way too bad to even fake it now, unless there's some kind of breakthrough in autotune technology. .

As usual, they don't come anywhere close to the Gulf Coast.

Apparently Sammy invited DLR and Alex to be a part of this the other day on Stern.

According to Sammy Hagar, there is "no fricking way" David Lee Roth will be joining him for the entirety of his 2024 Van Halen-focused tour.

Hagar emphasized that Roth would be welcome as a guest only, not to join the whole tour. "He can come out and sing a song on a show or two," he said, "if he can remember the words."

Ouch.

But so true.

I’m sure Eddie’s poisonous attitude toward Mikey and Sammy is deeply ingrained in his son. Wolfgang has said many times that “Van Halen is never coming back”.
