Little Dragon
People that try to hard listen too:

Modest Mouse
The black keys suck now. They play the same set over and over at every show.
Arcade Fire is awesome though.

I obviously have a different definition of hipster than this board
Something hipster would be like liking the new Savages album or Mikal Cronin or Disclosure or something like that
All of the bands in this thread are way, way too well known to be "hipster" (which is a stupid term that has been totally overused and misused into meaning basically nothing anymore)

The thing I find funny is that I imagine one of the main reasons people dislike hipsters is because of their condescending nature. And yet, I can’t think of much that is more condescending than saying “you can’t really enjoy that band, they suck. You just like them to appear cool. You are trying too hard.”
