I think it might have been Rick Dees, but I'm not sure.
I can still remember the first lines from when I was a kid.
He had a bit of a patois and it opened with...
"Hello everybody
listen to me
this is your Governor
ol' E.W.E.
coming to you live from the capital lawn
and I hope that you all got your radios on"

Fiend should've at least made the list of potential choices.

Soulja Slim has one of the best album covers in the history of album covers.

This is tougher than one would think. Lotta great rappers out of louisiana.
Can't start the list without Master P and Lil Wayne. P might not hold a candle to Weezy in talent, but P is single handedly responsible for bringing Louisiana rap, new orleans rap specifically to the rest of the nation. Before P, new orleans rap was just a regional thing, P brought it to the masses, and with out him Lil wayne might not have reached the heights that he did. The other two spots, could be any number of rappers, and depending on the day it may be different people. So, today I go with:
Mater P
Lil Wayne
Kevin Gates
Lil Boosie

DJ Jubilee
One of the dudes from Partners N Crime
Sporty T
(Those four above were doing NOLA style rap before everyone started having wet pants over Little Wayne)
And Jamie Bergeron

But it has to be Louisiana rap. They only got Boosie and P, right?
What about white Louisiana rappers? Anyone remember BFTS?
