Yeah, while it may be a slump, I'm getting pretty tired of watching Anderson brick fadeaways. Hell, he got a wide open shot from 6 feet and still faded away for the miss.

I'm just going to say I pretty much said that ryno coming back was going to hurt us more than help. They were rolling, playing great team basketball with ball movement in that bench. He comes back and decides that he wants to be dirk minus the made shots and defense.

It doesn't seem like he's back to 100% yet.

He's no Ben Wallace, but he's significantly better than Anderson.

How long is this an acceptable excuse? This isn't a guy who relies on athleticism to attack the defense.

What would you move ryno for?

I don't know man. Give the guy a break. He just got back from an injury. When he's healthy he's $$$. And yes, he's better on defense than Dirk. Not saying he's great but Dirk is possibly the worst defender in the NBA.

Ryno to me is just soft mentally. He needs to GTFO of his own head and just jack threes, however dumb and simple as that sounds. You can visibly see the wheels turning in his head out there. Shooters keep shooting. Stop giving a crap.

This is absolutely false. I'm not trying to pile on, but Anderson is one of the worst defenders in the NBA. I say this after defending his defense in the GSW game thread.

I can't answer that. I don't know what's available, but it does seem that he's been hurting this team when he plays this year.

You and me both, I have started to get mad when the ball goes to him because he is becoming a black hole on offense. He gets it and you know he's going to iso whoever he is on with that step back fadeaway.

The crazy part is those shots aren't even close. They aren't rimming in and out. They aren't going down. They're just lucky to catch full rim.

He is playing some of the worst basketball I've ever seen from an NBA player. He REALLY REALLY blows right now.

the guy has the love of his life commit suicide and gets Injured more this year than he ever had in his career and you think he's "soft mentally"? Shameless is fitting, because you're a fricking moron. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Why are you bringing that up? He's a great person. We all think that. Or at least the vast majority. He's also chosen a profession with a downside of being open to public scrutiny?

He kind of has a soft mentally. Got nothing to do with the suicide. He complains about calls all the time when things don't go his way.

I bring it up because he's anything but soft mentally. He's handled himself very well through all the adversity. Everyone has their slumps. Is it possible that he just isn't in a groove right now? Say he blows, say he's playing like shite right now, that's fine. But don't say he's soft mentally. That's a stupid accusation.

That's what it has been all year with Anderson because the rest of the bench can't create. Either the system can't compensate a lack of talent or the players won't run it correctly. It's dump the ball to Anderson and let him do something. Too often that something is a fadeaway jumper.

When people talk about a better coach squeezing more from the roster, this is what they're talking about. Anderson is fundamentally being asked to do something he can't do. He's a better option than letting Rivers/Jimmer/Cole whomever run ISO, but that doesn't mean it's a good option at all.
