Go look at his numbers given decent minutes this year. He can get buckets and dropped 22 in 28 minutes on Wednesday. It's not far fetched at all he can be a 4th starter on a team that needs shooting. Shot .518% from deep for the month of February when he got a fair run...then they got Buddy and he's back to buried on a team that operates incompetently and misvalues nearly every player they have. Stauskas, Cousins, Rondo, Belinelli, Afflalo, Koufos, Temple, Tolliver...which one of these Kings players was dealt for an adequate amount or given a proper salary the last few years? Bueller?

For a Pels team that needs to buy low on guys with upside, I don't think the bulb is as dim for McLemore as you say it is. He's only 24 and has shown flashes this year.

$10-$15 mil for McLemore is "buying low"?

it's not, which is why I initially clicked on the thread. Then you started throwing out $15M per

I think somebody will take a chance on him, but $10-$15 million is the number people have been throwing around for Hardaway Jr. He's seen as an up and coming young player, why would a reclamation project like McLemore get similar money?

Shooting guard is a typically overvalued position. SGs in the 10-15 range right now who probably shouldn't be:

Eric Gordon - 13
Tyler Johnson - 12.5
Afflalo - 12.5
Jordan Clarkson - 12.5
Courtney Lee - 12
Austin Rivers - 11
Iman Shumpert - 10
Danny Green - 10

Say BMcLemore's more in that next tier:
Dellevedova - 9.6
Gerald Henderson - 9
ETwuan - 8.5
Sergio Rodriguez - 8
Garrett Temple - 8
Corey Brewer - 7.8
Jeremy Lamb - 7
Jodie Meeks - 6.2

Based off of age (24) and upside - a lottery pick who HAS shown flashes this year - an 8-13 mil valuation (10-15 overpay) seems reasonable given the current market for SGs.

I just took a look at his advanced stats and they are beyond terrible every year but his 2nd year where they're "only" bad. A big part of the reason they're bad is he doesn't do anything but score and he doesn't score all that well. If I'm going to bet on an unproven scorer that doesn't do anything else, bet cheaply and run through half the DLeague until you find your next Jordan Crawford.

There's also the question of is Holiday a PG or SG. If they bring in a starting level PG then between Holiday/Crawford/Moore, where is your $15 million reclamation project going to get minutes?
