Did Griffin sleep with these dudes girlfriends/wives? I’m confused…

It’s funny, some of the shooters this board obsessed over last year in the lottery

Drool over 24 year Ole knock downs like Duarte & Gispert last year, or 1 year wonder davion Mitchell (23yr old 4yr player)

But they turn their nose up at the 18yr old who just shot 48% in ACC play last year. The absolute worst case with Griffin is you get a knock down shooter. Kid has a lot of offensive upside & the ability to hold his own on defense too

Griffin’s knee injury concerns are real. Look back at his hs tape. He didn’t show that kind of explosiveness at Duke.

I like him, but I would take Sharpe or Mathurin over him.

I’m cool with either. I really want to know Mathurins real height when he’s at the combine. He’s definitely not 6’7

Is he listed at 6'7. He is probably more like 6'4

I think he’s officially listed at 6’6 but everytime he’s standing next to a guy that’s listed at 6’7 or even 6’6 he’s noticeably shorter. He might be 6’6 flat WITH shoes at best

Who is the better defender and 3 point shooter out of?

Shaedon Sharpe, Bennedict Mathurin, Johnny Davis, Dyson Daniels and Ochai Agbaji

I want the guy who is the best 3 point shooter and defender in this draft from the Pels range.

Daniels is probably the best defender. Best shooter is Mathurin imo followed by Agbaji

I like Mathurin as well. I like Johnny Davis but would love him if he could shoot the 3.

because according to a lot of professional scouts, he is the best player in his class (2023) and would have been a top 3 pick in a better draft class(Webanyama is practically a lock at 1). Crazy athletic, good size, elite wingspan for his height. Capable of scoring off the dribble. It’s just he hasn’t played any college games so there’s obvious unknowns about him at a higher level. And just because guys may be better than him at certain skill sets now doesn’t mean it’ll stay that way and teams may think he’ll improve quickly

IMO Agbaji is the best combination of 3 and D (his size/strength/VJ combination is elite), but he seems to have some confidence issues and can shrink back and wait for others to make plays at times or ends up pressing. The positive to possibly being a bit passive is I think he fits in well in almost any locker room and has a chance to have another gear if he develops into more of a dog.

Agbaji Senior Highlights

I like Daniels as well - I think his 3 point shot can improve.

I have to dive into Daniels a bit more, but from what I've seen I like him a lot as well. I would say historically when you see a guy outperform his draft slot it's common that guy either wasn't a shooter coming out, or he was old.

We should be talking about Daniels more, I would totally group him with the guys we could take at #8. Honestly of all the guys we've talked about he may be the one I look at and have the most confidence in that he's a real NBA player. He does to many things at a high level to not succeed.
