the bottom line is the injuries this team has suffered, year after year after year, i dont think can be explained by "normal" wear & tear. injuries are a part of life in any professional sport but for gods sake what is happening here, again and again, is truly unbelievable
one or more of these things are true:
1) the team is constructed of players who cannot play in this league and stay healthy
2) the coaches/training staff/doctors are incapable of managing recovery and prevention
3) the team has been cursed by one of the ancient gods of vengeance and spite
i'd say one of the first two is most likely

If the team doctors were the ones responsible for getting Gordon to the specialist that healed him, that changes things a bit, no? I don't care if they heal him themselves, they just need to know when they need help and who to go to for help.
