@KBergCBS: While there is no new medical knowledge on Gordon, he "didn't feel 100 percent" after going through drills in recent days, source said.

So the player we are supposed to be building around can't play if he's not 100%. Holy frick

I fully expect the injury report to read NOH: E. Gordon - DTD - Vaginitis

If he was in Ny, LA, or MIA, he'll be 100%.

It's not that simple.

quote:

it takes me a long time to warm up but I'm here two hours before practice," Gordon said, "trying to get it warm and get it ready. It's tough. I feel pain when I play and of course it looks good to the coaches and everybody here that the past few days I've been playing well and looking well. But it's hard to deal with, especially over an 82-game season.

LINK

Would you be willing to warm up for an extra 2 hours every day if they were only paying you $14 million? I didn't think so.

he needs to get his story straight. from today's t-p:

"it has been feeling better throughout the process of a few weeks"

"it looks good to the coaches and everybody here that the past few days I've been playing well and feeling well"

EG needs to get his shite right. I don't mind him sitting for the first couple of weeks if it means getting his knee right. As fans, this sucks because we want to see him play, but big picture wise it's not worth the risk.

If he didn't have such a "I'm a big PHX pussy" offseason, this would be an easier pill to swallow, but he made it a lot easier for everyone to just pour on the hate.

it's not mid season or the playoffs...with his injury history, we'd like to get him to 100% and not risk re-injury.

As someone said, "out indefinitely" doesn't necessarily mean a long time

Well we looked pretty good the few games Gordon played last year. I think Gordon can lead us to victories.

Know the feeling but there was always a 99.9% EG would be in this position due to:
1. His almost constant injury prone arse, or
2. The jackass was still pouting because we didn't love his little injury prone arse enough and he didn't want to play.

The Hornet's Prayer:

If there's a good God in heaven and he's not too pissed at the Hornets, or Tom Benson, or members of the coaching staff, or the good people in New Orleans, please let there be some demented crazed, ignorant GM out there willing to trade for EG come February. Please, good Lord, grant us the cap space that only banishing the crippled EG can provide.

Amen.
