Unless he retires, we are fricking stuck like chuck for 4 years. His salary is on the books even if he just sits there.

Best case scenario is that he gets back, relatively healthy, plays well, and we can trade his arse for pennies on the dollar and is well enough to pass a physical.

All aboard the Nerlens Noel/Shabazz Mohammad Express

For anyone thinking rationally, when does he is able to be traded?

If he misses a major part of this year or shows signs of losing ability, due to the knee.. then he is not movable. He would have to prove that the knee is sound and will not hinder him. Otherwise, we are stuck..

it could

If there was any chance that this meant that he'd be out for just a game or 2, why use "indefinitely"?

@FletcherMackel: Eric Gordon: out Indefinitely > translation: "soft as cotton" and doesn't want to grind and be a leader for a young/rebuilding team! #Sad

I have tried to stay optimistic with this guy. But after the stunts he pulled in the offseason and comments he made he needs to man up and play. He must want people to not like him. If Rivers drops 16+ tonight it will quickly turn into Gordon who.

I would encourage fans NOT to boo this loser. It makes us look bad and we don't want that. Trying to start fresh.

But I will be booing him in my head.

Oh I'm not saying we should cut him

Just saying that if we couldn't get a sign and trade with Phoenix, then we should have chosen not to match. Obviously we're stuck with him now

I agree, but not for Gordon's sake. I don't want Davis/Rivers/Anderson to see our fanbase booing our own players. Even if it may be justified.

I'd be happy with that. I've never really bought into the idea of Rivers as a PG anyway

This is going to prove a really bad decision to max him.
