38 year old LeBum can heal a more serious injury in 2 weeks yet a 22 year old need 4 months?

LeBron actually takes care of his body. More so than anybody that I can ever think of. Zion on the other hand doesn't even like to stretch. They are not the same.

But you might as well start putting your gloves on, because he won't be back Friday. We need him, bad. But even if he is probably good to go, the training staff isn't going to let him go. I've written him off as coming back just so I don't get my hopes up, but if he did come back, I'd prefer him to at least play in one regular season game so the rust won't be there for the playoffs.

He looked way too big to play in the video that came out last week. He’s gotta be within a certain range for him to be cleared to play and from what I saw he was at least 20- 25 LBs over.

If it was good news, the national insiders would have leaked it already.

Or the team or Zion would have giddily shared it.

It isn't good news.

This was an injury that should have been healed in 4-6 weeks
That injury generally takes longer, plus he had 2 injuries.

The issue is less so how long it's taken and more so why does he keep getting hurt.

It’s the injury during rehab that is most concerning. How is that happening in a professional level setting? It truly feels like Zion doesn’t know his own limits. Which is dangerous.
A setback on a hamstring injury is actually common.

Again, the issue is the shear # of injuries combined. Each individual injury makes sense, other than the very 1st MCL sprain that took wayyyyy longer than expected.

The foot thing last season, we know dudes have missed similar time and gotten multiple surgeries for.

Grade 2 hamstrings take up to 2 months and is fairly common to see a reaggravation.

All of that is fairly normal, the issue is how it keeps happening over and over to Zion.

I wish they’d announce something I’m tired of refreshing to see the news.

Excessive weight causes severe stress on leg muscles, ligaments, joints, etc. Its not rocket science, if he wants a NBA career he needs to lose weight or we literally only play him once a week.
