What about Baron Davis?

He was not a generational talent. Really good player but not generational.

Add Baron Davis to the list. Not quite at their level, but a helluva player in his prime

I liked him but then a young Dwayne Wade roasted him in the playoffs. I feel he really hit his stride with thise upset warriors who beat the top seeded Mavs and Dirk.

Do people realize that generational means every 18-20 years?

So in this case it would be the most talented player in that time frame.

I don't think any of those player qualify..

I mean at the time CP3 and AD were touted as generational talents. Paul considered leagues best point guard ever (very debatable); and AD considered generational big man at the time. The others though I agree with you.

Zion has squandered Zion at this point.

Very is an understatement. He’s not the best point guard of the era he played in. Talent wise in the discussion but his ego always got in the way.

Point guards of the 00s-20s Id rather have include: Steph obviously,Nash, Conley, Lowry. Team Rondo 4 Life, too.

Nash and Steph sure; Rondo- maybe; bro I lost you on Conley and Lowry- CP3 was miles better than those guys.

Lowry constantly had his team in deep playoff runs, is known as the little thing king, better defender, knew and accepted his role. His teams always well organized. Conley the same, but didn’t play with insane amount of talent that Paul did jumping around.

Paul made the game about himself. That Clippers team would’ve been way better with Conley and the Grizz would’ve been worse.

I cant even argue on this one. I think anyone you ask will tell you Paul is ten times better than both those guys. I can throw stats, winning percentage but honestly its just watching basketball will tell you that. You have a right to your opinion though.

I know people don't like Westbrook. But he's had a better career than Paul. He has an MVP and put up historic numbers. He has won just as much as Paul (neither have a ring)..

Well as stated, ego is a huge part of it. There’s a reason Rondo correctly asserted mid game about a dozen years ago that Chris Paul would never win a title, because Paul made it about himself. Lowry was more successful because he didn’t. Once Chris lost his speed his true advantage over a few of those guys he was what and what with them.

I’d also take peak Rose over him too.

Plus Paul plays like a bitch.

To each their own though. It’s says a lot to me, when people tout Chris as their favorite player or role model, etc.

Oh Paul is a bitch for sure. I hate the little shitty things he does. But that being said I still can’t put Lowry or Conley over him. Lowry before he won it all with Kawhi had repeated playoff failures- like horrendous playoff games. Conley was a great game manager that knew the grizz bread/butter was randoph and gasol. But they werent at CPs level even with his bitching playing style.
