We won 49 fricking games last year man. We are anything but shitty.
In 2019, the Thunder won 49 games and Westbrook averaged 11rpg. Westbrook has made the playoffs 13 out of 17 seasons. He rarely played on "shitty" teams.

But 12-13 is ludicrous. He simply isn't tall enough to do that
Shawn Marion and Dennis Rodman were both 6'7 and put up insane rebounding numbers. It just has to be a focus. I just don't believe it's his height holding him back. Maybe playing next to Val pulled some of those numbers down. But that's not the case anymore..

That's literally all they were asked to do. Rodman was asked to be a defensive stopper and Marion had to shoot the occasional jumper. Outside of that they had to rebound rebound rebound. It was their main focus.

Go and look at Marion's numbers. The guy couldn't shoot and still scored 20ppg, plus pulled down double digit rebounds. We have to expect more out of Zion and stop coddling/defending him. He's a Superstar. I expect greatness. 6 or 7 rpg is not good enough, especially for a big..

8 would be fine.
If zion throws up 28pts 8 rebs 6 assists next season he'll be an mvp candidate at worst and most likely all nba

It's not enough. Especially with no other legit bigs on the team. He needs to go off.

He's not a threat for MVP with that stat line. Embiid put up 35/11/6 and wasn't guaranteed to win, if he didn't get injured. Doncic came in 3rd with 34/9/10. Zion has to lead the league in scoring to even make top 5, especially if he's not pulling down double digit rebounds..
