When Borrego speaks, I sense he has more edge and depth than Willie, which is what this team needs.
A coach with some mamba mentality would totally change the attitude of this team during crunch time. No more lack-of-focus passes like BI's telegraphed pass/turnover to JV that was the turning point last night

Can someone explain to me how in the Hell, you have a Trey Murphy and can't get him some open looks
Defenses know he is the best shooter and a sniper. Therefore, there's a strong emphasis to mark h8m when he's on the court.
Trey isn't a good on ball guy. He's average at best at creating his own looks off the dribble. I am referring to pure iso plays and not drives off the catch from a kick out.
As good of a shooter as Trey is, he doesn't have as strong of a off-ball movement shooter profile as Hawkins.
He's an elite catch and shoot guy that is taking steps to improving his offense in other areas.

Not sure how Trey plays 36 minutes and gets 8 shots. We do not run anything at all for him. He basically sits around the 3 point line and waits.
Some of that is on him. He needs to get more active off-ball. He's never going to have Hawkins' energy level just because he's so much bigger, but he can certainly learn from Hawkins with that respect. That Ray Allen movement not only get you open and into rhythm, but it also causes the defense to constantly check and reset, providing openings to cutters.

Yeah but the ball is never flowing towards him. Hes being used as a last resort shooter. Hawkins is a pure movement shooter- thats not who Trey is. Imagine if Warriors decided hey klay if you get shots in the offense cool but we’re not predicating our offense for you to get shots.
I think what’s frustrating is theres no plan for anything, no system. Its like they’re playing pick up and trying to figure it out. Like wtf???!!

The Ray Allen movement is not something you can just decide to do out of the blue. It needs to be schemed and requires your coach to run multiple actions/sets to achieve. Trey relocated regularly.
We ran some of that with Hawkins early on. But if you look at what he's doing in the past month since he's been benched, he's pretty much regulated to a stand still spacer when he gets into the game now. Willie doesn't value movement shooting. He wants his shooters to space for the star players for the most part.
