I really think Ingrams potential is being underestimated here. I've seen that guy do durant like things on multiple occasions and theres a good chance he will become more consistent with age. Will also get bigger.

I wonder if Phoenix would take Ball and the Lakers 2019 pick for their unprotected first rd pick.

Lonzo isn't worth the Suns pick straight up, especially considering we'd almost certainly be giving up a good bench piece and taking on another contract to get him.

phx first rounder to NO for Ball and lakers first rounder. find a way to make that happen and we can talk to the lakers.

Why do we even want Rondo back if we didn't want him before? am i missing something on that?

I dont see anything working with the lakers. kuz, ingram, good players, need to get an Ace out of this deal either lottery or young stud.

same thought

Even if Phoenix's pick were in play it's probably not something that would happen before the lottery said what pick it was. They surely wouldn't trade Zion for Lonzo.

If it amounts to moving down from to top 3-4 to 20ish while getting Lonzo they might

They have enough high picks and need a PG

The potential isn’t what I am wondering about nearly as much as what it costs to explore that potential.

If he were clearly a superstar in the making, I could see a big money deal going his way. The way things are looking, though, he won’t develop until after his new deal, if at all.

If the Pels get Kuzma, Ingram, Hart, the Lakers first rd picks in 2021, 2023 and Phoenix’s unprotected lottery pick this year (after Ball/LAL’19pick trade) .. can you say no?

First 3 seasons PPG:

Pelicans get:

PG -Lonzo Ball
SF - Brandon Ingram
PF - Kyle Kuzma
PG -Rajon Rondo
SF - Lance Stephenson
SF -Michael Beasley
2 1st-round picks

Lakers get:
PF - Anthony Davis
SF - Solomon Hill

So...AD for Ingram, Kuzma, 2 late firsts

The Suns aren't giving up a good sixth man in TJ, taking on a bad contract and moving down 20 spots in the draft for Lonzo. They could just take Ja Morant and keep TJ in that case.

They're probably only getting involved if they give up TJ/JJ, take on Solo and get Lonzo. If they're giving up a pick, it'll be protected.

We get that I say yes. No fricking way the Suns send that pick out without at least Top 3 protection though.

It’s the only scenario I see us taking the Lakers deal. Kuzma and Ingram will be good role players but we’ll need a top 3 player like Morant, Zion or Barrett to really give me hope

Take it.

Flip Kuzma/Ball for more picks.

Trade Jrue for young players + more picks.

We have the ability to have so much assets.

As the saying goes in the NBA, “you don’t trade a dollar for four quarters.”

Quality far outweighs quantity in the NBA since you can only put 4 guys on the court.
