No because he gets a lot of travel calls. And you don't have to be logical when you make nicknames. If you think too hard making them up you already lost.

"Goose" is the nickname that Ayon was given by his teammates because "Gustavo" is his name. It being shorthand for vodka is a bonus given that Jack already had Gentleman Jack as his nickname.

Grievis and Landry being Cuervo and Johnny Walker, though, is trying too hard.

I have no problem with Goose. It's trying to adapt it to a liquor-themed roster. Maybe you should suggest New Orleans Drunks or Junkies for rebranding. I don't mind Gentleman Jack, either.

You shoud look for a nickname to fit a player not a player to fit a nickname.
