This team is going to be hard to beat once we get CJ and Trey back. I’d almost be tempted to limit Z, BI, and JV until such time so we can finally have our best 5 (with Herb and Hawkins as elite 6 and 7).

Odds are when CJ and Trey are back, either Zion or BI, or both of them will be injured. Let’s be real.

Ingram seems to be taking shots at Zion also.

In a locker room interview he said the team needs to get back on defense and not complain about fouls.

Doesn’t really matter though because we don’t play defense anyway

They are trying to “build a program” .

BI works his take off , gets along with the guys , and has performed well in games that matter at the eve of the season .

On the other end is a guy that has been lazy , injured ,and frequently separates himself from his team mates ?

Right or wrong I can see why they would takd BI’s side if that is in fact the case .

The offense this year is about ball and player movement . More equal opportunity meant to prevent the your turn my turn from the stars . That obviously hadn’t happened much to date.

What a load of horse crap! Ingram is incredibly talented but completely unwilling to do what it takes to win. It was clear as day on Team USA when he shared the court with other stars. And it has been eye popping when he is on the court with Zion. He only cares about being "the guy". In his 8th year, he is a low percentage, high volume chucker who plays no defense, doesn't rebound and is openly jealous of the best player on the team.

It's disappointing that Zion came in out of shape and apparently added nothing to his game. But it is an indisputable fact that he makes the players around him better. The game is so much easier for CJ, Dyson, Hawkins, Ryan, Trey, Jonas, and Herb when Zion is on the court.

Ingram has made it clear he has no interest in accepting a different role.
There is no way Willie and the Griff don't see it. They've publicly supported Ingram's position. Either they swallow their egos and do what is necessary, or they will be watching another group take on the next rebuild.

Even AD isn't his usual fountain of positivity. This team is in a dark place.

That deflated feeling is warranted during this 5 game losing streak. I completely understand it. It’s more than just injuries and lineup inconsistency IMO.

Man when AD goes dark, that ain’t good lol. But you can see it from the post game interviews. This team is not in a good place mentally.

Spin zone:

The only silver lining is that it's still early. These guys can/may/hopefully create accountability. The season isn't lost until we're 10 games under 500 in February.

The offense should be predicated on BI AND ZION. Its so agitating when its only BI centric. I get all the other lazy shite Zion is doing and its clearly his fault but why are we not running actions with our 2 best players??? Why is everything focused on BI being the point guard? I feel like again this team is doing everything in its will power from Griffin to Willie to make BI - the far lesser talent- the superstar. And in all honesty if they don’t change that its going to cost everyone their job. Zion needs to be involved in every action, not standing in the corner doing nothing.

This was my biggest concern going into the season. It isn't surprising that this is how it played out. They all told us that the goal was to put BI as the point guard and use Zion "off ball." My fear was this was a direct result of BI flaming out with TeamUSA and the team catering to him. It is the only explanation that makes sense as the team has been so much better with Zion with the ball. Now we have wasted 10 games of development with a system that is obviously broken. Hopefully, Willie, Griff, Trajan, and Borrego have the self awareness to start fixing this problem ASAP.

Because lets be real SVG did that and Griffin fired him. Its almost like Griffin is catering Ingram at every whim. Its like before they broke up Morey being obsessed with Harden.

How many actions can you realistically run with Ingram and Zion and be effective? They both occupy the same space. Zion can't shoot and Ingram doesn't shoot well from deep nor is he willing to launch them at a respectable clip. Ingram also doesnt get to the rim at a high rate especially in the heavy type of traffic that Zion commands. Their games just doesn't mesh stylistically. They both want the ball in their hands and they both barely ever look for each other in traffic. If anything, it probably makes them easier to defend.
