AD plays 82 games in the reg.

Tyreke is back in shape by Feb 2. He is terrific, all star.

With three great players, the Pels go on a tear.
AD is player of the week 3 times the last 30 games of the year.

Buddy is rookie of the year and leads Curry by 2 points at the end of the year for the scoring title. Pets and W's meet in the West Conf finals.
W's in 6

We do all of that and still lose in 6?!

I like a couple of the things we did, but we're no more than an 8th seed right now. This is a superstar league, we've got AD and no one else, here's hoping all those Buddy Hield comparisons come to life.

I had this fantasy tyreke would come back and buddy would be a star and AD would be stunning and they would be 7th seed and upset W's in conf finals. No tyreke. Blood clot. Wait til next year.

The sad thing is that 39-43 would probably be enough improvement to not fire everybody. 2 years ago who'd have thought that they'd choose Demps over Monty and Demps and his hand picked coach could survive 2 sub 40 win seasons?

If they had that type of patience 4 years ago, perhaps 39-43 wouldn't be seen as a step up.

Honestly, unless you are prepared to trade Davis and reset it all, I don't think you can fire Demps/Gentry if they hit 35-40 wins with this roster.

What coach/gm worth his salt is signing on for what would be the death march of Anthony Davis as a Pel followed by either a pink slip or a long slog through the NBA wasteland

I just hope they stay healthy this year. I can see .500 and competing for an 8th seed as a possibility.
