well the rumor for the longest has been that NO wants to have some one on the roster that has a little more offensive upside then Aminu. Hes a great bench man, but we loose alot with out having a scoring threat at SF. They arent looking for a Lebron or KD type player. Just someone who get the points when needed. Take a look at our starting lineup we are set up with a lot of height. A couple years ago our biggest issue was that we were two small. Now our smallest guy is Jrue at 6'4". So the only piece to the puzzle left is the SF position.

So Holiday is all of a suddenly a top 5 PG now that he is with the Pelicans? I have heard it all!

And people are acting like Noel is Hakeem the Dream without having played a minute and sitting on a torn ACL!

No one is saying that he top 5, but he has proven that he is one of the better PG in the league. He is an allstar and he can play against guys like CP3 and Westbrook. It doesnt take the best in the league to always have a top team. Look at what the Pacers did this year with "good" talent, and hell look at what the Spurs have done with Parker. The only time Parker is ever mentioned as a top PG is when they are winning in the playoffs, otherwise he's just another one, and the media & fans can only care about Rondo, CP, Westbrook, etc.. So Dell is trying to fill the holes on the team with guys who can play now and are young.

Why does everyone keep bringing up Noel? We were never keeping Noel - we drafted him solely to flip him.

This draft for us will be determined by Burke or McCollum's success in the NBA, IMO, because they seem like the only guys we would've taken otherwise.

Did you see why Dell said he went with the Jrue trade instead of Burke.

He liked the fact that Burke was a quick guy and move the ball very well, but he was worried he could not play against guys like CP, Parker, and Westbrook.

And here's this dick head. Rockets aren't playing us, and we're not trading with you guys, you don't have to come here.

My original point is Noel is irrelevant because he was nothing more than a trade piece. He was not drafted to play for us.

Jrue is obviously an experienced defender. I just think Burke's offensive upside is worth the risk. Burke could've come off the bench of instant offense and to spell GV.

That being said, we should be better next year with Jrue being able to gamble more on D, knowing he has Davis at his back to protect the rim (something he didn't have in Philly).

of course not - I just think Burke has amazeballs scoring potential in the NBA.

Obviously defense is another story... an area where I've already stated I think Jrue will be better with a frontcourt that protects the rim

Jrue is better on offense and he will start.

I agree completely, we had no reason to draft someone with the same skill set and body size, as our former number 1.

i will say though if you look at the games where Burke was able to play his game, he had his best offensive outings. He is good at the 3 and he isnt afraid to attack in the paint
