I'm not so sure about this injury. It sounds more to me like the powers that be are buying time so they don't have to make the hard decision on who to start.
They (Willie Green, David Griffin) don't want to piss off the old guard that they paid too much money for, or the guy that everyone thought would be traded by now. With this hamstring injury this buys them some time.
