Do you guys think spurs roster that much better than pelicans?
Absolutely!

Murphy?

What is going on with Trey? He has been out 17 days with a shoulder contusion. Beginning to wonder if it is worse than they are indicating.

The SKC is just a horrible arena notorious for cramped and miserably uncomfortable seats for an apathetic fanbase.

The link above is as complimentary as can be expected for the sad state of affairs.
Yet, I am sure you have never even been to a Pelicans game.

That’s not the argument. The argument is that high quality RBs are easily acquirable via FA.
Are they? Williams is gone. Hall will be tagged. That leaves Walker (who may not quite fit Moore's offense) or Etienne (already 27). After that, maybe Algeier?
quote:

Ricky was a good RB for us, just not worth blowing your entire draft to get him.

Don't just look at Love as a RB. Roger Craig from the 1980s was just as big as a threat at RB as he was at receiving for the 49ers. If Love adapts well to multiple roles as claimed he could be a big help.

And for the record, if Bain (sp?) is there at eight I would pull the trigger to get him first but he'll be gone by then.
RW was fine for us and we got 2 #1s when we traded him to Miami. Also, Ditka was on record saying he would have drafted Cade McCown if he had not traded up, so we would have gotten a certified bust.

I’m fine picking or passing on Love. This is a draft full of tented RBs, so passing on him is fine; however, you do it to grab a different premium player at a position that won’t be as deep, not because you don’t want to pay him.
Actually a pretty weak RB draft.

Bunch of chicken littles. The same people who were giving up on Fears after he cooled off. The rooks are going to be great.
Not like he is lighting it up lately either. However, he appears to care and play with fire and effort. If he learns to finish at the rim better and become a better facilitator he will be fine. Hopefully, the two of them have just hit the rookie wall and will be better with a season and offseason behind them.

Damn, people are really down on Queen. He has played 58 career games. Give the young man a chance. He will get better and stronger.
Will he? The reason he was such a polarizing player in the draft was that there was a lot of concern about his work ethic and his interviews. We have to hope he has the drive to get better as he appears lazy and disinterested a lot. Players frustrate him and get into his head way too quickly as well.

I don't buy it. This guy plays hard and has a high level of athleticism that you simply cannot teach. We need more guys like him on the team to are good in their role to compliment the playmakers we have.
Solid role player. Would not compare to Naji as he is not as tough as Naji. However, he plays with effort and is a plus defender.

The difference is that Houston has an active owner. The Pels do not.

Lauscha is going to do his best so that the cabal has to kick in the least amount of money towards a renovation.

They’ll laud a plan that puts about $250m into a building that needs to be torn down.

SKC was a $250m building built on a $100m budget because Mike Foster did not care for the area unless it was coming to the boat show.
Wouldn't go that far. Fertitta is a bad owner. Sadly, probably better than Gayle.

Zion has played 42 games and Trey 52. Rookies have been healthy, Bey is healthy, Herb has played 32 games. The team has been pretty healthy actually. The only thing we're missing is Murray and he isn't the difference between 16-42 and the play in. We might be better than our record, but it's only by a couple games. This is a terrible team. But I'm sure we'll run it back again. maybe year 8 will be Zions year to get to the playoffs.
We may be the only team that does not emphasize finding guys who can shoot the 3. Outside of Murphy, we have no one that would be a viable option on a contending team. We have never adjusted to the current style of the NBA.

The problem is that Pels will name him as head coach in two months without doing any formal coaching search. There are far better options out there, the problem is that they will want some autonomy.
...and NBA level money. Gayle not used to paying for quality. Gotta save that money for her friend Aymond and the church.

The dude only played 31 games for us and averaged:
17.5 pts/ 6.5 reb/ 7.4 ast/ 2 stl.

But yeah he's a team cancer for everything wrong he's done like tearing his Achilles or being traded to a team that has mismanaged every player on their roster for the last 20 years.

Murray is a real a-hole for that. What kind of douche tears his achilles?

That Tatum guy is really awesome though, he teared his achilles but is on a team that has properly managed their players for the last 20 years so he's not an a-hole.
I would assume the comment was related to his public interview trashing the organization.

Probably minimum with the next 2 years being nonguaranteed.

She’s going to sell, Nashville and Tampa look much more appealing to move to in the east.
Do you even follow basketball or just make shite up. There has been zero mention of an NBA team in Tampa. They are building a state of the art baseball stadium for the Rays currently.

It’s Dennis Lauscha that everyone should dislike.
Why specifically?
quote:

Maybe "now" was incorrect, but according to my padnuh who has some deep connects, she is willing to sell before she croaks, but only as a package deal. Graves is ready, willing and able to buy the Saints right now, but she doesn't want to sell the Saints to him right now, unless he takes the Pels as well. Graves doesn't want the Pels.
Wonder why he would not want the Pelicans. Even as bad as they have been run, the value increases significantly on an annual basis.

She has matured greatly since her partying days. She got a little frustrated with that meter maid in Charleston as we all would. But with her multiple degrees Rita would’ve been set to go toe to toe with the Robert Krafts to build winners in New Orleans.
Your trolling is getting to hilariously ignorant levels.
quote:

Saints at $5.63 billion (3rd lowest in NFL, above Jaguars and Bengals).
Pels at $4.02 billion (2nd lowest in NBA, above Memphis).

Obviously the market ultimately dictates what the value is, but these valuations provide some context at least.
Former Archbishop Aymond has to be so proud that he worked to get Tom and Gayle together. It is going to pay off handsomely for he and the church.
quote:

Arguing that the franchises would be performing much better off and more stable than under Gayle is not nonsense.

Our worst fears with Gayle’s prior business acumen on decorating have come to fruition with the Saints and Pels performance.
Rita would have lost the team by now. All she was worried about was partying, not being a business owner. Sadly, Gayle is much better for the teams than that fool.

Not sure why the answer is that everything needs to be taught in schools.
It is ludicrous that there is no financial classes taught in school. There are so many outdated and irrelevant things that are taught simply because they always have been, but something as important and part of everyday life is ignored. You would think that in the 4 years of high school, some amount of time could be allocated to teach kids the basics as they prepare for life as adults. While I have taught my children, I amazed at some at how many college level students have no clue about financial issues.
