Really like Dae'Quan Wright from Ole Miss late in the draft (or priority FA). He was underutilized in college, but has skills.

Even getting Bey in the trade, it was a terrible trade. Poole may be one of the tougher players to unload in the NBA and Wizards fans were ecstatic that they were able to dump him for an expiring. Of course, when an incompetent arse like Dumars is in charge, the rest of the NBA teams come hunting for bargains.

Queen’s offense is great but he’s a huge liability on defense and I’m not sure if that ever changes. I think you just need to pair him with a big that has some range. Unfortunately, that’s probably the most desirable position in the NBA and they aren’t growing on trees.
Bottom line is Fears and Queen timeline is 3-5 years and I’m not giving Dumars that much leash.

Had JB said anything about Zion 3 pointer or jump shot? I haven’t seen it and I wonder what JB is telling Zion about expanding his game or is JB / Zion happy with his shot selection.
I remember when a reporter asked Ben Simmons about getting better at his game, Simmons responded with he had already won an award or gotten paid or something , meaning his game was fine.
When JB was assistant coach, we heard rumors he wanted BI to change his shot selection and shoot more 3’s. I just never hear anything from coaches about Zion shot selection improving / expanding.
Shopping is one thing. However, most teams will make deals near the deadline unless it is a no brainer deal in their favor. So, if we want to deal him, we would need him to stay healthy and performing up until that time.

Unfortunately, Willie had WAY too much time. This season is wasted because of Gayle's meddling or Dumars' indecision. Willie is a fine assistant but clearly not cut out to be a head coach.
