I think they should be in the mix. Don't think we will find a true answer in free agency this season. We should bring in a good defensive big regardless. We're just going to have to rely on a bunch of different guys and mix and match to find the best lineups for any given game.

Pelicans signed center Liam Robbins. SEC defensive player of the year this past season.

Just a camp invite, he’s hurt and won’t be able to play til August so he’ll most likely miss summer league.
Legit 7 footer who can defend the rim with three point range, certainly someone to keep an eye on.

I give Liam a shot. He’s 23 and got hurt. I can see why he wasn’t drafted. There are ton of NBA guys who never got drafted and still had an amazing career.
Look at the Miami Heats. Max Strus, Caleb Martin, Duncan Robinson, Udonis Haslem were all undrafted players.
