I dont know if I've ever seen someone talk about trades and not have Hill included.

Pretty sure he's not going anywhere and we're just going to have to deal with the contract. It's a bad contract, half the league has a guy on their team with a bad contract.

I just think people need to relax and stop using 2K to find trades to make this team better. It’s a long season and we’re ok.

2k? This is actually a pretty reasonable trade scenario, it's not like I'm saying we can get KD for Hill and Wes...

And no, playing .500 ball is not ok, maybe if we were in the eastern conference, but these games we are losing right now very well may bite us in the arse come the end of the year

I thought the same about the Bazemore/Solo swap, but why would Atlanta do it? You think they care about the money savings? i doubt they do. Do they care about getting a late 2nd round pick? not really.
They don't care about Solo, and they don't care about Bazemore. If they can get a 1st for him, then great, if not, oh well, not like he's hurting the team or anything.
Maybe we can do that trade at the deadline if all else fails, but there really isn't an incentive for Atlanta to do that for a 2nd round pick from us.

The incentive for them would be that getting Bazemore's extra 6 mil off their books for next year clears up 2 max salary slots for them. With baze of the team they would have approximately 60 mil in room, move Baze for Solo and they get 66-67 mil, and could essentially add a KD Klay type combo

They probably are waiting to see if they can get a 1st, but putting myself in their GM's shoes, I would rather go all in on one last tank, have 2 max slots along with a possible #1 overall pick for next year

Who the hell is signing with Atlanta that’s a max contract? They know they aren’t attracting any big names this offseason. They need to continue to develop through the draft and use that cap space to pay older guys big one year deals, like philly did with Reddick.
They want first round picks not cap space. They have 3 firsts already this year I think.

What if the deal includes Deadmon and Diallo?

True, but someone else’s bad might be a better fit than our bad.

Atlanta could be in the same position as the lakers, they have alot of young talent, and some good draft picks coming, they are just missing their "alpha"

Atlanta isn't LA, and sure as shite isn't the Lakers.
Their alpha is Trae Young.
They have good young talent with Taurean Prince and John Collins. They are going to be picking in the top 5 again in what is looking to be a loaded lottery. They also have Dallas's 1st, which is top 5 protected. They have Cleveland's 1st as well but since it's top 10 protected there's no way they are getting that one.
They are building through the draft, and when the time comes, like what Philly did after building through the draft, is when you make your move to get that all star guy in either FA or through trade.
Atlanta doesn't care about winning this year, or even next year for that matter. They are rebuilding, and if i was a Hawks fan, i'd be optimistic about the future of that team right now. Bringing in a veteran like Vince Carter was a great move. It's what is needed with a young team. That's something AD could have used in his early years.

If i were Atlanta, i woudln't trade Bazemore unless i was getting a 1st back. If no one wants to give you that 1st, then you simply keep Bazemore. Maybe you get a 1st for him next year, or if not, you simply let him expire so you have money to resign Prince and Bembry and then maybe look to add a good FA.

Almost everyone ignored the first option and only considering the second option lol. Oops may of read OP wrong and thought it was 2 different trades not just one. Ya, I think Atlanta says no every time.
