Tigerdroppings isn’t allowing me to post links right now, but Zion also FaceTimed with Mrs Benson today for a minute.

It’s posted on the New Orleans Pelicans YouTube Channel.

He doesn’t have to be leader of the team and he seems to look up to CJ and coach as models - that’s about as mature as any 22 year old I respect.

Zion helps his community and the kids.
He's a cool guy, mature.

He's just a young awkward and anti social guy. Nothing out of the ordinary

Dude, Zion is literally doing and saying all the right things lately.

He's volunteering with kids, he's embracing the city and franchise 110%, he signed a 5 year deal with no player option and injury protections built in. I mean what else do you want from him?

Really weird time to make this thread.

He's literally been here for over 3 years and has done these things for like 3 minutes. He has a very awkwardness about him and most of it boils down to maturity. It's not a dagger at him, just a notation. Posters are way too defensive in this thread they are all over the map. Some denying, some justifying, some deflecting.

OP has the same boomer mentality of people who raped Lebron over the decision. Newsflash....mid-20's males may not have it all figured out at the moment....give these kids time to grow into themselves. JFC

I mean that was pretty tone deaf, and kids were the ones burning jerseys.

Zion hasn’t really done anything wrong.

It may shock the NBAs marketing department, but other than commercials, Zion doesn’t really like the spotlight too much. He doesn’t tweet (yet) or really get into the influencer schtick that many his age do.

He may just love his family and love basketball.

Exactly how I see it which means he’ll be more focused on basketball. He’s not here for the instagram pictures.

Zion is 22 years old. Of course he has maturity issues. Most kids with a lot of money and popularity do. I just want him to learn from his mistakes and move on in a positive direction. That’s maturity to me.

You don’t even know that. I agree thst I thought he did bc of all the rumors he wanted out and this, that, and the other. But we don’t know if any of it was ever really true, all I know is he looks ecstatic to be here now and is saying everything thst I want to hear, and his weight is looking better. You didn’t even say why you were saying that he’s not mature.

if all reasons were listed, i'm sure it wouldn't make a difference in your thinking. he has an extreme awkwardness to him.

Humility doesn’t equate to awkwardness.

Maybe a chosen one tattoo on his back will ease your mind.

you're taking this argument to the wrong poster bruh. are you denying his immaturity or not? Can't have it both ways.
