Patty,

What is the name of your podcast/where can I find the specific episode where you shouted out ST?

Always looking for a new podcast to listen to, and have yet to find a Saints one I really like.

How has Grayson been looking lately? Sounded like he was a dumpster fire when camp first opened. I saw a couple tweets about "his best throw of camp" a couple days ago.

Mike Triplett answered my questions for me... just retweeted this:

Grayson with a TD to Lance Lewis over Frederick. When Grayson knows where he's going with it, he's done some nice things

This is the latest one:

We're about to change up the format because the co-host readily admits his propensity for rambling. We did a podcast last week talking about the impact of Dennis Allen that I thought was one of our best so far.

Also Nick Underhill does a podcast with this guy Adam West. It's pretty good minus the intro, which sounds like garbage to everyone I talked to, but the Adam guy loves it.

He knows he rambles. We're working on changing the format so it's more back and forth. It's a little hard since we're doing it over skype without video, so you don't get those visual cues like you usually would during a face to face conversation.

This one about Dennis Allen is a lot better:

Back on topic, defensive line has gone from a concern for me to one of the things I'm really optimistic about. The line looked lethargic last year at times. Guys like Richardson and Davison are high effort guys. They'll make mistakes, but if nothing else, they'll increase the energy level.

Not to mention a slimmed down Hicks seems to be causing havoc. Hopefully he finally puts it all together after showing flashes of his potential every season.

Kikaha with a real nice rush on Armstead to get a pressure on Brees

It would be nice to have a second round pick who can contribute right away.

Yeah, I guess he had some type of ankle injury last season, and he was playing around 345, so that's a lot of weight to favor on one leg.

I have a theory that his height is almost a hindrance at times. With his physical gifts he should be outright dominant, but maybe he has leverage issues.

An ankle injury & being 345 had to be a hindrance. He actually has a quick first step for being a big guy so I could see both of those issues effecting is performance.

Listening to the podcast. The Saints were actually insanely good in the preseason going into the 09 season. 2011 I believe they were solid as well. This is to that other guy, not you.

Good podcast Pat. Nice to actually have some non-idiots talking about Saints football.

I honestly can't remember a whole lot from the 2009 preseason. I remember the Texans o-line waffle stomping us in the 2011 preseason and everyone was freaking out.

With our semi 4-3 D, you can almost throw Spencer in there as another guy who can get after it in spurts for us.
